What to expect
- A working 50-year-old satellite. Expect it to drop out the instant it enters eclipse.
- FM will crash the transponder. SSB or CW only, low power.
- Mode A downlink is on 10 m: a dipole hears it.
Gear: Full-duplex all-mode rig. Mode A needs an HF receiver.
